Cryptolepsis can cause a huge herx in some people. When you start it, you need to go very, very slow.

Start with a coup;e of drops and stay on that for a few days until you see what happens. Only go up a drop at a time. Some people can't handle it at all.

It is supposed to be great for Babs.

It is probably working . The herbs that have really helped me were each torture at first . And it may have been a few MONTHS before i could tolerate six drops - I had to go slow !

I also find I do better with using them every other day , and giving myself the off day for detox . Taking them every day will render me useless and incapable of doing anything I need to do .

After a few months I find I can ramp up quite a bit !

I only got up to 1ml when I was on it.

At one point I was told to try to just take 10drops because I was flaring so badly.

Wean up extremely slowly...it's strong stuff.

No, I don't think it is a must to get well. Crypto is like anything else. It either makes people feel better or worse. Certain abx made me feel worse, but they were definitely killing stuff (herx). It's all a matter of what you can tolerate. I couldn't tolerate the abx that made me worse, so I moved onto something else.

I like Anne's idea too (every other day). Also Lax is right, go really slow.

I felt great on crypto, but my symptoms started returning, so I had to move onto something else.

Have you tried iver yet?

Crypto, sida acuta and alcornea can all be put together in the same glass of water. Tastes like lighter fluid. Yuk, but I slug it down.
