I saw LLMD again, after seeing neuro. They both said they don't know what is going on(since I did not test positive for Lyme).LLMD put me on Doxy for 3 weeks to see if my numbness and other symptoms improve. He also wants me to get tested for heavy metals.Could the heavy metals contamination be due to Lyme?

I wouldn't rely on any blood tests as they only show what happens to be in that little vile at the time your blood was drawn. The western blot has a considerable false negative rate, so it means nothing if it's negative.

The lyme spirochete can be hiding somewhere else in your body, so the antibodies are not always exactly where the blood was drawn. However, they do sometimes show up after a few months on abx. The correct diagnosis for lyme is a clinical one anyway.

It is a good idea to get tested for heavy metals. Heavy metal contamination isn't due to lyme, but it definitely affects lyme and can cause neuro symptoms. For instance, I recently had an amalgam removed and my neuro symptoms, which were gone, came back the day of removal.
