I just read posts that were dated 1-31-13 (nonsensical) and will definitely read the articles suggested in the various posts. However, I may be jumping the gun and my answer to what I'm about to write may be in one of those articles, but the other night a terrible pain in my head that went to my ears and chest awoke me and at the same time that this pain was occurring, I also heard what I thought were helicopters outside of my house. The pain continued for about 40 minutes and so did the noise of helicopters!?!? The next morning, I asked my neighbors if they heard the same and they did not. One neighbor in particular said that she was up all night with insomnia. Can this happen? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi! I have heard music in the middle of the night and when I wake my husband to ask him-um, there's no music. I also have had a couple of visual hallucinations. I know-it is scarey. Not sure if they are due to a particular infection or not. I have not experienced these in a while. Mine were not accompanied with pain. Just another crazy symptom of these crazy infections. It will get better!

that is right lymetoo! A friend had told me to google amy tan lyme and her story is what convinced me i had lyme. I, too, used to get lost in my neighborhood that I had walked in every day for years. When I read that part of her story, I cried. Her story is a nice one to read. i believe she is in remission.

Thanks so much didogs and Lymetoo. Very scary stuff but the pain was horrible! I guess there are others who are worse off than me. Thanks again, appreciate your quick responses.

you can have all kinds of halluciations...i have smelling ones more than any ohter but also hearing ones...
and then the opposite...looking at something and NOT seeing it.
once , my brother, a carpenter was all upset cuz the ladder was not on his van. he was telling me about it...he had really looked a number of times and not seen it...and then all of a sudden it was there.
that has happened to me looking for keys or glasses...i slowly go thru room over and over and dont see them...then all of a sudden i do. right wher i had already looked.
such a wierd disease.
didogs---that is the reaction i had when i read pam weintraubs "cure unknown"
it just helps you really believe you are not crazy

She is in remission, however, she has permanent epilepsy as a result.
Sad, what we all go through. She went through h**** before finding out what she had and getting good treatment---as have so many, many of us---most in fact.
