Two days ago I spoke with my doc following the results of most recent labs.

Free T4 1.05 ref. range .82-1.77
Free T3 3.1 ref. range 2.0-4.4

My Armour was increased from 120mg to 150mg.
He asked if I had been stress dosing and I told him when I do, I get extremely tired so I stopped doing that.

He said that indicates I need more Armour.
I took the extra 30mg of Armour after finishing our conversation.

Yesterday I took the 150mg Armour with my usual 15mg of HC. Afterwards, very dizzy, weak, tired, hurt all over.

After taking my next dose of 10mg of HC, I started to improve a bit.

After about 2 hours I took 5mg of HC and started to feel better but still weak and tired. Not as dizzy and didn't hurt as badly.

Woke up not hurting today.
Took 20mg HC with Armour with same results just not as bad.

Doc said to email him in a week or two to let him know how I'm doing as we may add another 30mg of Armour.

He also said I may need more HC.

I'm so discouraged and still feeling awful.
Sorry so long. I wasn't sure if I was even going to be able to write this. [sleepy] [Frown]

Thanks for any suggestions/help.

Is this how you usually feel when he increased your thyroid? If this was me I think I would contact him now instead of waiting.

Hope you feel better soon!

When you say 'stress dosing' do you mean the HC?

kgg, I was first started on 15mg to increase by one pill each week. I couldn't do it the next week and tried the week after.

I barely had enough strength to email him.
This was confirmation of the adrenal fatigue.

I'm thinking you're right about contacting him.
I'm so used to feeling worse before better.
Thanks.

whitmore, yes the HC for stress dosing. Sorry I wasn't clear on that. Thanks.

Pocono Lyme: I don't know the answer...but I too would contact him. Can you have someone else email for you, if you don't have enough energy?
