I am considering the Gerson therapy- Can anyone tell me if they stayed on abx at same time? Or any experiences they may have had on Gerson

Hmmm, good question. Do the coffee enemas in any way inhibit the absorption of abx or other pharmas?

I used coffee enemas when I was on abx with the support of my LLMD ... he saw no conflict.

I do think the theory of Gerson is defeated by taking abx at the same time .... yet I think the healthy eating of fresh juices and raw vegetables is detoxifying even if you're putting toxins into the body.

I am wondering if a person w/ cancer from Candida should do the Gerson therapy or if it's too much sugar?

Does anyone have any input on this?

Well, in a sense, yes... I believe the immune system gets so tied up with fighting the Candida infection that when cancer cells come along it can no longer effectively deal with them - and we all have precancerous cells.

Here is an article from a quick google search. There are others who believe cancer is the result of a fungus. It sounds far fetched, I know.

I just think people don't realize how virulent Candida is. It can wrap itself around your spinal cord...

oh, here ya go: [Smile] http://www.naturalnews.com/035876_baking_soda_cancer_fungus.html

ps. I didn't watch the full Gerson movie. It was so good that I wanted to give it my full attention while watching (and I was working at the time..)

I'm thinking that the Gerson therapy might not be good for those with Candida, though? I know that my good friend with cancer has Candida and her cancer is in the same tissue as the Candida and so I'm wondering... Any thoughts?

I just wanted to clarify if that's what you meant.

Personally, I would think it would still do what it's supposed to do. The juices and coffee enemas are cleansing. I think processed food and a large amount of cooked food would be worse. But that's just my thinking.

Maybe call a Gerson center and ask?

I don't see how anyone fighting candida can do it, until they've gotten it under control. Otherwise, the roots of candida will just grow further.

I kind of agree with you six. A lot of processed and undigested food is going to feed Candida as well.

I will watch the full Gerson movie and see if there's a modified version. She's wanting to go the Gerson route but I am not sure it's a good idea.

Maybe she could do a modified version while eating a ton of fermented food or something...

thanks for your thoughts!

I think there's a different balance that's right for everyone. Ferments might help. Less carrot and more greens might help. Good ideas.
