Just read an interesting article that increasing salt intake could potentially help reduce symptoms of lyme disease. Didn't say anything about curing it but is it worth trying? Anyone believe this to be true?

If you are having issues with low blood pressure, it would be beneficial.

Gael has posted extensively about salt/c. From her research, she says it hits the cyst form of Bb.

Plus the extra bonus is that you will be hitting parasites (which is the Number 1 co-infection found in Lyme patients.)

The ONLY salt we should have in our food: SEA SALT. It's very different.

Salt, alone, regular table salt or the salt in processed foods is NOT good for us.

Sea Salt can help with the several adrenal stress and also to help with symptoms of POTS and NMH, where the blood pressure can drop with standing or under stress.

Again, not all salt is the same. AVOID regular salt. Avoid processed foods and foods in restaurants that use regular salt (or MSG).

Get to know SEA SALT from good sources. Of course, keeping with your doctors' advice. But most regular doctors are not all that aware of the differences. Most LLMDs and LL NDs are, however.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. Is there a specific brand of sea salt that you recommend? What about kosher salt?

Pink Himalayan sea salt or Real Salt is best. Adding to Keeblers good advice, you should only use sea salt.

Salt is antibacterial and antiparasitic. You might want to consider doing the salt/c protocol adding Ester C powder with bioflavinoids to the salt in a glass of water.

You can visit lymestrategies for more info on salt/c. You can purchase the salt and c at vitacost as well as the herbs.

They also have a salt/c book from Amazon that will give you step by step guidlines on how to do this protocol.

Also check into the use of antiparasitic herbs such as Parastroy and take a look at the current PARASITE WARRIORS SUPPORT THREAD.

That's what I use. I have a really bad time with table salt in restaurants or at the homes of friends who don't know what kind of salt to use!

I have to go "no salt" in a restaurant.

1/4 teaspoon 2x a day in 16 oz of water is great for fatigue also.

It's got to be a pure sea salt not just labeled sea salt.

All salt deposits come from the sea it's if they are refined or not.

Research it. I like Dr Helens and Swansons for everything I need. Best prices and good stuff.

No I don't have anything to do with them. Just the best I have found. Pat
