No. I doubt it is relate. Mouth ulcers CAN be related to need for increase on folic acid . I read that years ago, and it worked like a charm for me after suffering for years . I recetly was reading user reviews n colloidal silver and found that some people took it when they had the sores and also applied it topically with great results . I used to use KANKA , which was helpful.

I have many ulcers in mouth. Finally went to Oral Surgeon who said its related to "dry mouth." It is often found in people with immune disorders, or immune deficiency and in older people. No real cure, but good oc products available , for me Act II dry mouth lozenges worked as well as Oasis mouth spray. Stay away from chocolate and sweets.

- Just one small ulcer could be a blip on the screen and could soon be gone.
Could be a herpes virus. L-Lysine may help.
other things mentioned above can help, too.
Any doctor who settles with "dry mouth" causing ulcers should give you your money back.
Any doctor that just says "auto-immune" should be fired. And any doctor that says nothing can be done . . . well, I can't say what I think about that, the computer won't "print" it.
I've heard it all and the whole lot of them should be ashamed they gave up on anyone.
1. avoid all commercial tooth pastes and all commercial mouth rinses. Most are beyond caustic. And many have dyes, flavors and artificial sweeteners that can be excito-toxic.
Detail in the links to come about safe products.
Yes, dry mouth can cause all kinds of trouble.
Immune dysfunction, too, but it's much more complex, mostly due to chronic STEALTH infections just wearing down one part of the immune system while the body still inherently "knowing" there is infection - somewhere - works overtime to find it / them, even though "stealth" infections evade immune detection.
Immune support can help. LDN, medical mushrooms, basic adrenal support, etc.
Lots of Rx can CAUSE dry mouth. Read the fine print on everything you take, at the manufacturer web site, not just any site.
Sleep and mood meds are terrible for causing dry mouth - and that can lead to all kinds of gum disease and decay.
Lots of different infections can cause ulcers.
Lots of nutrient deficiencies can cause this - and some foods can cause them, too. Avoid citrus, nuts, chocolate, etc.
I've been plagued by burning mouth ulcers for years. I can't post all my research notes now but will try to give some detail to help.
I have found some relief, though it comes and goes.
I hear that those who can actually treat lyme &co. have these resolve. -

- Get assessed for H pylori
Borrelia and other tick-borne infections and the immune dysfunction and anti-diuretic hormone trouble connected can also cause all this. But borrelia is not the only bad boy spirochete on the block:
