So, after recently having experienced the dramatic change in my symptoms when going on digestive enzymes I am realizing that a lot of my issues stem from my gut.
After being on them only a short time all my pain was totally gone. When having to stop them for stool testing my pain went from zero to off the charts. I restarted them yesterday and what a difference today.
Can someone recommend a good book that deals with healing your gut? There seem to be a lot out there.

NOW brand aloe vera gelcaps are very gut soothing and glucosamine chondroitin combo help rebuild ALL mucous membranes , gut ,lungs, bladder . The aloe starts working fast , the glucosamine may take 2 months, but it is GREAT overall for health !! Also makes my hair healthy !
I have read other people say that colostrum helped rebuild lining of bladder and gut membranes. there have been studies on it .
I would definitely do glucosamne and aloe concentrate gel capsules . I take 3 gelcaps in AM and 3 in the PM with no problem , and they make my bladder irritation feel better . Also work well on gut lining .

Book - The Swiss Secret (by the famed Dr. Rau at the Paracelsus clinic). I haven'd don it yet myself, but I've heard great things.

I sort of stumbled upon this. He focuses mostly on the gut, but discusses other issues as well.

This is what we did for my daughter who was originally dx with moderate/severe Crohn's Colitis when she was 8 y.o. which turned out to be Lyme induced. She is now very well and eats everything she wants.
For 5 years we cooked the SCDiet for her to keep her off the horrible toxic Crohn's meds.
Then, when we suspected Lyme, we continued the diet for another year while she was taking PARAZYME and antibiotics. I believe the Parazyme (enzymes etc.) was VERY helpful.
She is currently 14 and treating for Babs and not in pain anymore. Knock, knock!
