Could it be the meds? The new ones that I added are minocin and tindamax...

Has anyone heard of this with these meds?

My sister got this from pine nuts from China. She was told it's a pesticide they use. Took two weeks for her to get her taste buds back.

Of course it could be many things that cause this symptom. Maybe others will know if your meds could be the cause.

Flagyl is notorious for messing with taste buds...so it wouldn't surprise me if Tindamax could do the same.

Try brushing with a baking soda-based toothpaste. I've had that help a lot with strange tastes in my mouth, too...

Some of the meds give you a metallic taste in your mouth. My husband and I noticed our taste buds were off even before we started abx.

Try to eat something that will get the taste out of your mouth. Brushing your teeth doesn't always work. At least it doesn't for us.
