Miralax wasn't strong enough after years of abx use. I have used Fleet enemas in the past, but now drink magnesium critrate...available at most drugstores.
I drink about a 1/3c at a time, over the course of about 3 hours until a full bottle is gone, if necessary. The results are not pleasant, but it is thorough. You may be need to be near the bathroom for a few hours. I don't use it more than once a week, after no movement for a week.
Sorry, this isn't fun.

Does the magnesium citrate work immediately or is it an overnight thing?
Miralax keeps my stool soft but doesnt make the bowel move. I tried Senna which is the ingredient in ex-lax and did get cramping from it so that is what I am using until it stops working. I don't use it every night just once a week or so.
It is like having a manual shift bowel system.

Miralax, salt c, magnesium......none of that worked when I was backed up for 4 days. 1 huge swig of mineral oil and it opened the gates. You can also do a mineral oil enema.

What are you eating? If you are eating a lot of meat, that will cause constipation. Try eating more legumes and whole grains with fruits and vegetables. If you keep the glycemic index medium to low, you won't have to worry about aggravating yeast.

Mineral oil is carcinogenic...do NOT consume it.
Use Epsom salts, or Burdock Root, Vitamin C, Magnesium supplements, etc.
Liquid diet is important until things move again. Do not put more stuff down that will just back up against what's stuck already.
Also need to do deep breathing exercises to stimulate peristalsis.
And colonics can be very helpful as well. I think Dr. K recommends colonics during parasite treatment.

"The lyme diet" by Dr. M recommends mineral oil and castor oil for constipation. As long as it's bottled, it's been refined and purified so many times it becomes inert/pure.
And any google search I see on refined mineral or castor oil being carcinogenic is written off as a myth.
I guess buyer beware on this one. All I know is it worked for a one time fix after a 4 day constipation where diet, enemas, and herbs/minerals failed.

You could try drinking a lot of mangosteen juice. I like Mango-Xan, the most tart of the blends.

I have battled constipation for years. I have to do an enema to get them to move. I cannot have a bowel movement on my own.
None of the docs have been able to figure this out. I simply cannot go. I do enemas at least every other day.
That is a lot but keep me more well. I know that is a lot, but the alternative is worse.
I think this even keeps the pathogens and ick down considerably.
I am going Thurs to a doc that is going to do some testing to see if we can figure this out. I know my botched colonoscopy 4 years is still not healed.
I know I am missing something because about every couple of months out of the blue I do have one.
I have tried every laxative known to man both ABX and natural. All have stopped working.
Sometimes if things get really bad I have to travel 1 1/2 hours to get a colonic. That really cleans out things.
Not comfortable, but have learned it is about survival.
I have been on the liquid diets, drank 20 oz of vegetable juice, etc and none of that helps.
My theory is that the botched colonoscopy didn't help, and Lyme has paralyzed my gut.
Long story to your short question Tickalert.
I guess I am saying if you have to use an enema to get things going it may help kick out some bad bugs, relieve you, and allow you a more comfortable day.
They have not harmed me yet and I feel better after the job is completed.
I would suggest using medium amounts of water, let it set, expel, and repeat. I do this to ensure I am not stretching my bowels too much.
Also being constipated keeps the ick in your system and it is reabsorbed from what I read.
Good luck, hope you find your answer.

What are you taking for a parasite cleanse? You may need a warm water enema or colonic.

P. S.
salt/c can also help get things moving as well as killing parasites.
