Not sure the second one applicable as it deals with removal of thyroid, and described as transient.
However, the first one made me want to dig out my SPECT results and see which area of the brain was hypoperfused.
I would guess that the cold hands and feet of hypothyroids show that the circulation is not normal. And it would not be surprising if the brain were affected too.
