I think some of you know about my "success" post a few months and how I've been feeling amazing for the last 4 months (most days I was symptom free).

Well my LLMD wanted me to do rounds of Samento/Banderol while I was still on abxs. Our goal was to hit biofilms.

My experience is that the herbs possibly do some killing, but in my case they mostly just stirred things up and "activated" Bartonella (all of my symptoms are Bart to a T). I have a sensitive nervous system and there are so many herbs that seem to penetrate TOO DEEP into my system and rile thimgs up.

It doesn't feel like a herx response because the symptoms aren't going away; in fact they're increasing. I'm really frustrated and believe that my reaction to samento/banderol is an unnecessary poor reaction.

Sometimes we've gotta let sleeping dogs lie (imo).
I've never felt like it was possible to kill all the bacteria. But I do think we can knock the load down enough to suppress it and hopefully immune system keeps it at bay.

I agree with you. At times when I was off abx.s and feeling close to 75%+. I would test the waters with some Byron White formula.

Once on B.W.'s I would go from feeling good and functioning to feeling terrible. (except for the Detox formuals and A-P). It never felt like a herx where I would come through to the other side feeling better then whenI started.

I would just stop the B.W. and in a few days feel back to feeling good again.

Perhaps I still do and will always have some TBI but I agree that sometimes it is better to let sleeping dogs lie. I think the best I can hope for is for my immune system to do the work of keeping things at bay for me. Been at this for 10 years and getting to know what works and what does not.

But, yeah I agree with you.

It is confusing because while we let the sleeping dogs lie ( which I understand ) then we have to question, are they reproducing ?

Cane and desert , have you tried addressing biofilm ? That is supposedly critical to getting rid of the offenders . I tried serra peptase and thought I would almost die . I do beleieve it works, and now I buy the biofilm argument . It seemed to unleash hell. I had to stop it , but I am starting silver now, and when I get over the initial herx with it , I will add the serra peptase again and give it another try . If I did it now I would be a veggie 24 /7 . The silver is a shocker too for me. The first couple of days were fairly mild, then they became so difficult I had to cut the dose in half .

Maybe someday we will have a better picture of this mystery . I do understand how attacking the enemy is almost like giving up the ability to function .

Canefan,

Sorry to hear the Samento/Banderol has possibly slowed your progress. I used the two drops for about 3 months while I was still on ABX last summer and early fall. I did not notice any improvement at all. I then met with a local Dr K practitioner who tested me with ART. She said I was so blocked it is a wonder I was not getting worse and that anything could work.

She said that once I got my pathways unblocked several things would work better for me. That seems to make sense. I have been off ABX now since late Dec. Several things have improved modestly and some not much. I will go back and get tested in a couple of weeks to see where I am. I get a UVB/Ozone IV at least once a week, take MMS twice a day (the new 8 hour protocol is better but hard to do at work), and take the Dr K cocktail and a few other things (supplements).

I may get an Ozone machine for the home next month. Since I am hitting biofilms with MMS and serrapeptase, I am also considering using a Rife like technology if I can keep the detox going.

I still make and take the adrenal sup that you recommended (Gaia). I do about 10 drops per day after squeezing the capsules into a bottle with an eye dropper per your recommendation. This has helped!

All the Best, MattH

What was the combination which made you feel amazing, canefan? I remember we batlled same enemy, bart symptoms are my worst too. I mixed samento/banderol with abx too and got some reaction, but I finished shortly after I had started, so am unable to tell much about real effect.

My DD seemed to be so doing so well with Samento I decided to add Banderol. Probably a bad idea that I stopped her abx at the same time. I was giving her 1 drop Banderol, 5 Samento (has been on Samento for months). In 3 days, suicidal ideations came back - she has not expressed those thoughts in a year. It's horrifying, she is only 9. Clearly the stuff works but its also really powerful. I am still trying to get her back to where she was. Have had some OCD and anxiety return as well. Someone posted to try 1 drop on the skin rather than orally until you can work up to it, however I won't be going back in the water anytime soon!.
