Things that knock me out are yeast related. Yeast/sleepiness happens to me after abx, starch or fruit.
Are you taking or eating anything else within 2 hrs of taking it? Also, are you drinking lots of water with it?

I'm taking that now as well. I take 1/8 tsp once per day. I don't think it's made me feel worse per se, but I do remember the doc saying that it could definitely flare someone, particularly if the person has fungal issues...
Sorry, that's all the info I really have on it... Hope you feel better soon. :-)

Lax, try taking it before bed. I detox and get rid of yeast better overnight. I think the body detoxes better at night (a doc just said this recently on Dr Oz).

Catgirl: I don't take anything within about 3 hrs. I literally am unconscious within about 30 min of taking it everyday.

You need lots of water with it to push it though (and throughout the day). You may be reabsorbing stuff and giving yourself yeast due to how long it's sitting in you.

I don't have it here in front of me, but there might be fruit in it.

Thanks Catgirl. I did not know that. Maybe that's why my mouth is like a desert right about now.

Lax, how are your metals? Heavy metals have turned out to be at the heart of yeast for me.
I think detox 2 may have some form of licorice root in it (soothing, but sweet).

I have been on Detox 2 for a couple of months now.
Hard time in the beginning and could only tolerate 1/8 tsp. every other day. Take it slow and drink more then your usual amount of water.
I am now up to 1/4 tsp twice a day without any ill effects. I feel better on it now and it seems to bind very nicely with yeast.

Ah, I have high lead too. I recently read on a forum that one of the lyme docs said lead makes mercury 100 times worse. This is my problem (my mercury was lower).
I just got my amalgams out and my yeast drastically reduced overnight. It was so obvious that metals were at the heart of my yeast issues. I suffered all this time for nothing. Now I can detox (failed before).
Have you tried small amounts of bentonite clay, or clay baths? They suck everything out, so you have to re mineralize right afterwards.
