Got my copy. It's a tough read, but you can skip over the real technical stuff on cascading cytokine's, etc. I have Burner's Healing Lyme book and definetly new stuff included.

So far what I've gathered is he really likes Cordyceps, Houttuynia, Isatis, & Wheat Germ for Mycoplasma.
I'm coming up on the Bartonella section soon.
I love Buhner's work. This book is set up better than his old one imo. He did great.

He also has quite a bit on Mycoplasma's and how they wreak havoc....

I was wondering if anyone who has the book could share his thoughts on Rhodiola in relation to Bartonella?
I have spent too much on books lately, and have this persisting thought I should be taking Rhodiola.
I appreciate it, thank you.

- This book is just $12. As with his past book, some libaries may carry it.
Copyright law allows a few excerpts to be shared but, beyond that, you might check his website. It's best to get detail directly from the author as much can get lost in translation, too.
He's always been beyond generous sharing on his websites. It must cost thousands and thousands to get the education, do the research, the homework and write and then find a publisher and market the book. I'm glad it's so reasonably priced.
I've always found his books to be worth tens times their weight in gold. I put off getting his other books for a very long time - a huge mistake on my part. Had I gotten his books as soon as I learned of them (not years later), I would have saved myself some trouble.
Still, I know well that even $12. can be hard to come by. In the meantime, you might be able to borrow a copy from someone in your area lyme groups. See if your lyme support group can purchase a few copies to loan out. -

- Not in relation to Buhner's work, yet for reasons of adrenal support, Rhodiola is detained in links and books posted here. But know that Rhodiola can be too strong for many with lyme - unless in the right dose and also balanced with other adrenal herbs.

I do not have the book yet, but I looked at Amazon.com to see if you can search inside the book. They don't offer that feature yet, but they do have it for his previous book,
You need to sign in to view search results in the book. I found 33 results for Rhodiola, and in reading them, he seems to place Rhodiola with herbs that support the immune system.

I just ordered his new books - the one on coinfections and also the updated one on plants as antibiotics (for other infections besides Lyme/co's).
Am eager to read them...I enjoyed Healing Lyme and the first edition of the herbal antibiotics book so much...

Thank you-
I own Stephen Buhner's book Herbal Antibiotics (2nd edition, updated) and lo and behold, there is a chapter/ nice section
on Rhodiola. I have been taking a small amount in a adrenal formula, but have been feeling a pull to this herb.
Seek and ye shall find- sometimes on your own bookshelf :-) Off to view his thoughts.
