Been having painful feet, severe burning

neuropathy (hands, feet, face) and feeling like I

am going to spontaneously combust (hot), with

simultaneous freezing hands/feet, alternating

venous swelling and constriction, and severe

pressure headache. Does this sound like a

reaction to Bab3? Started it a week ago. Last

night was pretty bad, thought I was going to end

up in ER as I also felt nauseas and supremely

anxious. Took some Alka Seltzer Gold (when my

brain kicked in that is may be a herx) and in

about an hour, it was cut in half at least.

Second question: Do these sx sound like Babs or

Bart or both?

Sorry if this is obvious to most. Brain fog and

memory issues ramped up too.

Hurts to walk on them, especially in the AM and PM, like the skin will split. There is the usual background joint and muscle pain, but that's not what I'm talking about here. Also, feels like they are on fire, literally. They feel hot to the touch and then freezing to the touch but the burning is still there.

Sorry you are hurting Randibear.

Are these new symptoms for you? What have you been diagnosed with?

And which meds are you taking for Lyme & Co?

(yes, it could be a herx)

Dx with Lyme and Erhlichliosis with labs and clinically with Bart and Babs. On Minocycline, Augmentin, Abart, Bab3, Sarsparilla and a bunch of immune support, adrenal support, vitamins/minerals, HRT, etc, etc. The only new thing is the Bab3.

Symptoms are not new. But, the severity is ramped up at an insane level. Have backed off of does of Bab3 by half, doing more detox (Burbur, epsom salts bath, caster oil packs) Do see a lessening in the symptoms.

convinced it's a herx now. Been so long since I've herxed, I forgot what it was like. Guess this tells me I have Bart and Babs still partying past last call.

I know that painful feet are a symptom of bart. But if Babs treatment brought this on, who knows? It does sound like you probably have both. You are taking a lot of ABX/herbs.

I would do what you are doing, reduce the dosage of Bab3 and see how you feel. Then maybe ramp up VERY slowly. Hopefully, you are kicking some butt!
