Hello everyone. For the last 6 months both of my knees have been bothering me. One more than the other but I cannot kneel or bend them very far. No yoga or pilates for me since the fall due to the required knee bending.

Sitting on a low chair or step is painful. I have been to the orthopedist twice. Going again next week and probably scheduling an MRI.

The fact that it is both has me wondering if it could be lyme. I have been treating though for years. Seems odd that joint pain would start up this far into the scenario....

The only joint pain I have had in the past is in my left wrist and it would come and go. This has been constant.

Thoughts?

I started having knee pain recently, too. I'm not sure what is causing it. I do believe Lyme can cause it but it could also be hundreds of other things, too.

In my case, I was thinking it might be hormonal. I don't know if that can happen. I read somewhere that estrogen protects the body from aches & pains. As women get older & go through menopause - the production of estrogen diminishes...

I'm not sure, though. I started having sciatica, too. It might be a combination of things putting pressure on my knee...? Might even be heavy metals, toxins or some other pathogen.

They recently found a bacteria that causes people back pain.

YES!! For some people the arthritis part doesn't show up until years later. But also consider candida/yeast.

I treated my knee pain successfully using the SOTA Magnetic Pulser.

The magnetic energy adjusts the electrical charges on both sides of the cell membranes, and nutrients and waste products can enter/leave better.
Because of this, the cell functions better and the pain and inflammation go down.

This is not masking the problem, this is healing it.

Years later & 1 1/2 - 2 years later I started to get joint & knee pain. This is while & only AFTER aggressive treatment.

What I have noticed in my blood is only more spirochetes with ongoing treatment. I truly believe it is disease progression from what I have physically seen & experienced.

i didn't get joint pain until quite late, so it can happen later. I like waving a 660nm red light machine over the joints to reduce pain.

Also I found that a lymphatic drainage massage can relieve a lot of pressure on them, for a couple weeks' reduction in pain.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Crazy to think this could be lyme after all this time.

Will have to have an MRI anyway to see what is what. I do think one knee is injured on top of the general knee pain I have in both knees.

Crazy! I will look into the Sota pulser. I don't think its Candida. I have had energy testing and lab testing that tell me I have no candida. This has always been a concern to ma after all the abx.

I have stuck to the yeast free, sugar free diet religiously and I take many more probiotics than my llmd recommends. But who knows...

Yes, it can show up or reappear years later.

It reappeared with me after starting flagyl, after not hurting for years.

Carol in PA, How does the SOTA Magnetic Pulser compare to a rife machine?

A rife machine uses sound waves, doesn't it?

A Magnetic Pulser uses magnetic energy.

LED light therapy uses light waves.

The magnetic energy helps the cells to work better by adjusting the electrical charges, so that minerals like calcium and magnesium can enter/exit.

LED light therapy helps the cells work better by transmitting energy that is absorbed by the mitochondria in the cells.
Mitochondria are cells within our cells that make the energy we need to function.

I have used both LED light therapy and magnetic pulses to heal wounds and relieve joint pain.

I have the mag pulser & the LightWorks (SOTA). In my case, I think the LightWorks helps me more. I have been using that more, lately.

I'm going to try the mag pulser again tonight to see if it works.
