I was wondering if the symptoms I'm having lately could be Lyme-related (got diagnosed in 2008, not treating since 2010).
I am very tense in the mouth, tongue, cheeks, jaw, and I find it hard to talk, I seem to not be able to pronounce certain sounds correctly. Of course I am terrified it could be bulbar ALS. My boyfriend says he has not noticed anything wrong in my speech.
The more I am tense, of course, the worse my problem seems to be.
Can anyone tell me if this could be *just* Lyme symptoms? A few other Lyme symptoms have returned lately. Cannot afford to treat anymore, my Canadian MD "fired" me 2 years ago.
Thank you!
Julie

What other symptoms are you having? What supplements are you on?
I'm asking to ascertain if you have symptoms of low magnesium. Muscle tension is related to magnesium deficiency.

Hi Julie,
When I could no longer afford to go to my LLMD I had to treat myself. Luckily, I discovered the salt/c protocol and antiparasitic herbs. Parasites/worms have been recognized by ILADS to be the number one co-infection of Lyme.
I had all of the symptoms you are describing, only to find out after the herbs and salt/c I was loaded with the parasites pictured on www.lymephotos.com
Google parasite symptoms. Many who have been chronically ill are also discovering the same. I will bring up the PARASITE WARRIORS THREAD for you to review.

I have these symptoms too. For me, i'm not sure if it's the lyme or the current in my mouth from amalgams and gold crowns(not well enought to get them replaced)or both.
Symptoms are even worse at night, i wake up with a sore tongue and have to stretch my jaw before i get up. sometimes i also have what someone else on this forum appropriately called mouth snap, where i take a very stong bite in my sleep that wakes me up.

It's mostly fatigue, weakness in legs, burning spots on hands and forearms, acid reflux, dizziness, mild vibrations inside head at times, earache (left ear)...
I'm not taking any supplements, will go back to magnesium though. Should I take it with another mineral or vitamin to make it work better?
Thank you all for your replies.
