About a month ago, my well known pharmacy who always filled my prescription for ketek said their supplier said it was no longer being manufactured. I went to another well known pharmacy, and nearby grocery pharmacies who had silmilar messages.
I called the manufacturer who said they were still manufacturing it and it was available.
Since then I have had discussions with my pharmacy and more with the manufacturer and the upshot is that the truer picture is that the pharmacy's wholesaler is no longer carrying ketek.
I went to a small independent pharmacy who did fill my prescription after ordering it. I am going downhill, as for several reasons it has now been weeks since I last had ketek and over a week since I took any antibiotics.
I am anxious to start my whole regimen again-omnicef and ketek during week, with added flagyll on the weekends.
My concern. Though the ketek tablets have the right information on the tablets, they don't quite look the way I remembered them. Though it's been over a month since I last had ketek, after being on them for several years, I think I have a pretty good recolection what they look like.
So questions:
Anyone else told ketek unavailable?
Anyone else question the recent look of the tablets.
Thanks

Google "pill identifier". You can check markings and color on pills or search by drug name.

Isn't this a dangerous drug with a black box warning?
