I just thought of this. I started on it on Tues. of last week. The tinnitus has become unbearable, starting on Saturday.
I looked it up and tinnitus is listed as a side effect. I hope it gets better. I can't stand it. It's so bad that I hear it over everything now and what I do hear is a bit muffled.
Has this happened to anyone else with Diamox?

It might be a bit better. I'm finding that the fan in the bedroom better at masking the T today.
I read that Diamox can take 2-4 days to completely clear the system, so hopefully it will be down by Friday.

I spoke too soon. It's still really loud. Like "shoot me now" loud.
I ordered magnesium last week. It was probably delivered today, but I won't be home until Saturday.
