I dont know if im finally herxing or what exactly.
I litterily feel like im about to die. I just finished my first month of iv treatment.
I have sever shortness of breath. I feel like i cant breath. I have oxygen at home so im using that. Not really helping much. I have tightness on my chest. Im shaking. My hands and foot keep getting numb.
I also have a weird hydrogen proxide taste in my mouth.
I just started IV fluids hoping it will help.
Does this sound like a herx to you?

Sounds like a herx and I remember feeling and saying the same thing when I first went on abx. I even called my friends and family to say goodby.
I told my LLMD and he laughed and said many people go through this and say the same thing. However, by all means call your doctor and let him/her know what you are experiencing. Sorry you are having such a difficult time.

Electrolytes can help, I used the mixes for vomiting and diarhea but we could use some IV coctails to break the stress.

I agree with Gael - call your doctor. And let him/her know about the problem with your PICC site, too.

I still feel horrible though... My hands and feet are burning.
I wouldn't be able to call my doctor directly i'll have to call the office tomorrow and they'll tell the doc and one of the staff will get back to me in a day or two

We herx between weeks 3-5 .. so this is likely your monthly herx.
Do whatever you can to detox!
Feel better soon... afterwards, you should feel better.

I'm with Lymetoo, detox like crazy. It's so important. Whatever you're using to detox, do more (lemon water, binders, alka seltzer gold, etc).
I know it sounds like the last thing you want to do, but exercise, specifically light weight lifting while I'm watching TV really cleans out my lymphatic system fast. That and some lemon water should help.

Please take your temperature. Shaking chills can be a sign of a serious bloodstream infection. Especially if they happen either during or shortly after an IV.
Of course it also could be a babesia symptom.
I don't mean to scare you, but it is always better to be safe than sorry.
Don't know if you live by yourself or not. But it might be a good idea to have someone with you that can watch for any worsening of your symptoms.
Yes, herxes are part of the treatment, but sometimes they can lead to worse problems if ignored.
Keep us posted.

I still have the shortness of breath but it's not bad as last night.
I have sore throat and pain.
I had my nurse come today and she said she doubts it's an infection since the swelling went down down compare to last week.
