Hi all,
Has anyone experienced anxiety and confusion on Diflucan? I read that confusion can be a symptom of overdose -- I'm not going to take it today -- Is this dangerous, or can I just wait it out? How long before the anxiety subsides? Any reason I should inform my LLMD?
Update: I just called my pharmacy (they specialize in complimentary medicine), and the pharmacist suggested it could be a die-off reaction -- thoughts?

Probably die-off. It can get nasty if you are loaded with yeast.
Watch your diet closely to keep the die-off down.

What do you suggest re: diet? Should I have some sugar to slow down the die off?
Two hours after I took the diflucan yesterday, I was so confused, I could barely keep organized during an important conversation...
PLUS, if it is a side effect and I keep taking the drug, could I end up with permanent psych issues?

No sugar, that's what feeds yeast. Best to follow a yeast free diet, eliminate all sugars, starchy carbs and even whole grains for a while. Eat protein and non -starchy vegetables and even eliminate fruit until things get under control.
Google and find a yeast free diet to follow.

I've been doing my best to stay off sugar, but wouldn't feeding the yeast slow down the die-off? Wouldn't it make sense to reintroduce some of the things that feed the yeast, if the reason I'm feeling unwell is because I'm experiencing too fast a die-off reaction?
I just realized that my anxiety pretty well coincided with when I added the serrazymes to my regimen...is that evidence that this is a die off?
BTW, I sent a message to my LLMD.
Best,

Thx, Tu and Abx
I'll get more strict about the diet, but hold off on my serrazymes and Diflucan until I hear from my LLMD...

I am curious too...I did a round of yeast killer (Candi-gone) and had the worst herx of my life...I literally thought I was loosing my mind...anxiety was insane and my head/sinuses especially the back of my head at the base of my skull felt that it was going to explode.

I don't see how it would become a permanent thing. Get rid of the yeast and all will be good.

Well, dare I say I think you guys are right -- now the horrible burning pain; muscle pain all over -- I'm feeling miserable; haven't felt like this in years. Blech.
I was wondering why I suddenly developed burning pain a few days ago, after not having it for years...
