I don't have any muscle twitching during the day but when I go to bed, I get huge muscle twitches. My leg, my shoulder, and last night a muscle on the right side of my back twitched and it was like I was starting to roll over.
Does this happen to anyone else? What causes it?

YES!
Sometimes I get them during the day, but the big muscle, like legs and back twitch at night. Drives me crazy when I am trying to sleep.
I take a magnesium, that helps.
I notice it started when I began Mino.
I assume it is the mino in my CSF fighting the BB.
What helps you with this? Any tips you want to share to a fellow bedtime twitcher? Posts: 4358 | From British Columbia, Canada | Registered: Jun 2013

I take 1600 mg a day now, twitches pretty much stop, unless it has been a very stressful day.

I was told it was because my muscles were tense all day long. When I was finally relaxed, they would twitch. Kind of like if you held a fist for 5 minutes straight then relaxed, your hand would probably twitch or spasm because it was used to being tense.

Wow! Good to read the magnesium tips, both about the oil and the higher dosing. I take around 750mg (more if I take a multi or my mineral pill)
That makes sense about the muscles being tense all day and then finally relaxing.... especially why the twitching happens only at bedtime. Posts: 4358 | From British Columbia, Canada | Registered: Jun 2013

Epsom salt bath before bed too is a big help. My LLMD said 3 cups per bathwater (not the 1 cup as on the label) Dry brush skin gently all over before immersing. Stimulates the capilaries to open up and improve detoxing. Warm bath relaxes, destresses muscles too.
