Doc wants to start me on Rifampin for Bartonella this Wednesday. I read that it needs to be combined with other antibiotics or else Bartonella becomes quickly resistant to it.
I'm wondering what other antibiotics it is typically combined with. What has worked for you?
Right now I'm on Clarithromycin. Not sure if he's going to tell me to stop that or combine it yet. He didn't mention any other antibiotics.

I have taken it with all different things including biaxin.
Also Bactrim, Flagyl, Doxy, mino, plaquenil, etc. It is one that your doctor will need to be careful when combining because sometimes it can cause liver problems.

Does Rafimpin attack spirochetes or cysts or babesiosis or Bartonella?
