I was doing better for a couple months with only about 1 flare up a month. Now on my 5th month of doxy, zith, and 1st month of clindamycin and sick again.

My LLMD thinks I'm getting resistance. He wants me to switch abx every 3 months.I didn't listen because I felt so much better on doxy.

I think I have more Bartonella symptoms than Lyme now. My headaches, chest pain and throat symptoms are back. Does Augmentin hit Bart at all?

He also wants me to start Tindamax. I haven't done so yet. Has anyone used this? Do these work well together?

Tindamax is one of the best drugs for me. I had a great deal of improvement with this one. Cyst buster, biofilm buster, kills Lyme. Not sure about activity against Bart, but somewhere, I have heard that. Cannot say whethere it's true or not. If you're gonna go with a cyst buster, this one's the best.

My LLMD also started out rotating one of my lyme meds like Omnicef, Suprax, Augmentin, Doxy, and minocylcine every 3 months or so while on other Bas or Bart protocls. After a year we went nuclear with IV Rocephin for 15 months.

However, Zithromax was taken most all of the time cause it worked well with most Lyme, Babs and Bart protocols.

Tindamax is a must, and it is also anti-parasitic. Not sure if it hit bart.

LOVE tindimax!

My energy and mental alertness improves during the week I am on it. (Pulsing one week on, one week off).

It is by far my favorite!
