Lisa-thank you so much for the tip on the migraide. I will certainly try it.
I am like you-didn't have migraines until the first tick got me.
I am hoping that them getting worse is a bartonella herx.
I have one more week at 300 mg day...normally I am impatient and want to rush into everything-but I am definitely not rushing in with the rifampin!
Thanks again for the tip Posts: 4358 | From British Columbia, Canada | Registered: Jun 2013

Also Rifampin itself can cause nasty headaches, just so you know.

Thanks CD57.
Always good to know about the side effects...
Head feels OK today...nodules in feet are bigger and swelling around Achilles is worse.
But totally manageable-much better than a migraine brain...

Good thoughts Greta. Rifampin was tough for me. ,I just never have the patience to see it through when herx is that tough. I'm almost all neuro.

Lyme in Putnam- thanks for the good thoughts
I'm not very patient either, but I do feel like this is so powerful I need to try. (at least that's the talk I have with myself about once an hour, haha)

Yes I really think it is. I had two great days in a row, one or two not so great days (they all roll together when the brain pain kicks in) now another great head day.

Head is pressure free but the bone and leg pain is unbelievably bad!
I am maxed up on my NSAIDS, taking berberine and magnesium.
Pretty sure this is a lyme flare.
It feels like sciatic nerve pain down my left leg (left side always affected more) and like a broken knee cap with pinching around the knee joint.
Any one have any suggestions for this pain?
Thanks
