So my pain and sleep are much much beter but here is what is still nagging me:

Restless leg feelings
Weak hands
Anxiety
Trouble/awkward swallowed
Random short dizzy spells
Nose pressure/pain

Sounds all neuro right? I'm pretty good in terms of fatigue/energy. Not wonderful but I can work a regular day.

I think maybe I will try rifampin? Thoughts??

Tx!

Are you taking Mepron or Malarone? I was taking Rifampin and not only did it make me feel kind of toxic, but my babesia symptoms came roaring back within a month. Rifampin reduces the bioavailability of Mepron and should not be taken in any rotation with Rifampin. I personally do not like the drug, but it seems to have done so much for quite a few here.

Rifampin and mino together have helped me tremendously with the severe head pain. (granted it's only been two weeks, but within 10 days I noticed the difference)

Rifampin does have some side effects though, and also requires regular bloodwork as it is taxing on the liver and kidneys.

I'm on malarone, bactrim and art. Have been on that for 8'months or so. I feel no continued improvement for at least 2 months now.

no continued improvement does not necessarily mean the infection has been defeated. Monitor your babs symtpoms. Also look into herbal tx for babs, such as Cryptolepis. Artemisinin never really helped me, but crypto knocked me on my a$$!

Bart is a real jerk. He does not go down easy. Come to think of it Babs is too.

I think my "restless leg" problem is directly related to my candida issues.

Make sure you have no problems there.
