So I still don't have my first visit to my LLMD for a couple weeks. I just got a UTI. My primary care doctor (that doesn't think I have lyme at all) is putting me on Bactrim for the infection. Will this affect my lyme for the worse? Or will it mess up the test the LLMD may do when I go see her? Thanks for any advice anyone can give me.

Doesn't matter.. TAKE THE BACTRIM. It MIGHT even make the Lyme test show MORE bands. It's best to be off the abx for 10-14 days prior to testing. [ 09-13-2013, 02:49 PM: Message edited by: Lymetoo ] -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!
