- I would not go so far (without additional study that would take more time than I'm willing to invest) to say this is a scam or even dishonest.
But it is not right. I would not trust it. They may mean well but they do not appear to be truly lyme literate. And, if they were really top notch herbalists, they would never name a product such a name or even claim this. They would know that no one can claim a "cure" for lyme at this point and especially in a few months with the same product.
Changes in formulas/protocols and rotations are required, whether Rx or alternative.
Just that URL says a lot. "Lymes" with an "s" - red flag. "Cure" - red flag.
It's now called "Lyme Disease Cure" - which is a huge red flag, again.
I am familiar with all the ingredients. I've taken them all over the years.
I cannot speak to the source of those about quality, however, each one is a good herb. But I would never say this formula could cure lyme. There is only one ingredient that directly MIGHT affect spirochetes (olive leaf extract).
A lot here is for immune support and that's all well and good except that lyme is unique in how it can dismantle the immune system and all support must be carefully considered - it's not the same as one might think.
It may be good support but it is not a stand alone. If someone got better, that's great. But there are too many variable to such reports.
The FDA will not allow this to be sold as is for long. It's illegal to make claims of any kind regarding nutritional products and disease.
I don't agree with that FDA approach, however, I am fierce in saying that any herbal product that claims to be a cure, in and of itself, is very questionable.
And this sort of practice by this herbal manufacturer makes me very angry. It puts us as risk of loosing the freedom of access because they are breaking the law but also making questionable claims, seeming to make money. It's hard enough to keep our freedom for nutritional products without this sort of thing. We must be smart about it and I wish all those who manufactured herbs would do the same.
Best to see an ILADS educated LL ND. -

- When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods:
if at all possible - because each person & each case is different - it's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL ND (lyme literate naturopathic doctor) (or similar) who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -
- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present, and has completed the ILADS Physician Training Program (see: www.ilads.org )
Many LL NDs incorporate antibiotics (depending upon the licensing laws in their state). Some LLMDs and LL NDs have good working relationships.
When possible, it's great to have both a LLMD and LL ND and even better when they have a long-standing professional relationship.
Be aware that integrative doctors can have various levels of formal herbal &/or nutritional education, perhaps even just a short course. Do ask first. Some have learned on their own from experts in the field. There are many ways to acquire knowledge and most are eager to share basic details about their training. You want someone with a deep knowledge.
Some of the specialities above may not actually treat lyme yet, for things such as physical adjustments, it is just good that they are also LL, at least to some degree (to know never to suddenly twist the neck or spine).
Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:
Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;
knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.
You can compare and contrast many approaches.
