I was going to use the search function but it's still "deflated".
Anyone give niacin a go? Just reading about it for the first time today and I'm intrigued but also super skeptical as I have not seen much improvement with anything I've tried.

Hi VV,
I tried niacin.
The flushing kind, as I read the non-flushing kind was hard on the liver.
Somedays I flushed TERRIBLY and somedays I didn't. On the days where I flushed terribly, after the flush was over I would get severe chills and my lips, skin around my lips, fingernails and toenails would turn blue. Some sort of vaso-dilation issue maybe?
I started out splitting the pills, so as to reduce the flushing.
To be honest, I did it for only two months. Flushed uncomfortably every second day or so, and didn't notice a difference in energy level, "feeling less toxic".
With the iodine I take, I am supposed to take niacin as well, but I just can't bring myself to do it. The flushing was very uncomfortable.
But maybe that was just me.
What are you taking it for? Detox?

Sorry, I meant to add I had more success with Vitamin B2, riboflavin, 400mg per day.
Improved my mood, energy and reduced head pressure somewhat.
