- The 3 min. promo interview is spectacular. The date listed there is for a couple weeks ago, though, not sure if that is when it ran or the promo date.
Thanks. Wish I could see this program. -

Keebler -- I think there may have been multiple episodes but not sure. The family that sent me the email sees a LLMD in California and not the one on the video clip.

There are a few lyme patients interviewed from my support group.
They also interviewed the doctors on both sides of the debate.
The people interviewd don't know how the documentary will turn out-they haven't been told anything and haven't had a preview.
They are nervous they may be cast in a negative light. But David Suzuki is pretty good at getting to the bottom of things-I am hoping him and his production crew shame the docs who are preventing us from getting adequate treatment in Canada.

- Thanks, all for added detail and to bigstan, for the additional link.
Oct. 10 is the same day as the Katie Couric program about lyme.
It's hard not knowing in advance about any program as we can't really asked those we know (who don't understand) to watch it if it turns out to be like so many others with the IDSA point making it look like no problem.
I did that once with a TV segment that had seemed hopeful but it really boomeranged right in my face, with the IDSA getting the last word an all the "honor" from the reporters.
But, at least the video clip Bea posted above seems to indicate the film crew "gets" it. And, as Dr. H. is to be on "Katie" that should be a good indicator.
Especially, the comment by the doctor that those with lyme can't really even go to regular doctors for things that are not exactly about lyme
(assuming from what she did say before that she meant that lyme changes so much about a body that most doctors don't understand, or that the patient's reputation is so often damaged in their medical chart). -

Thanks for the CBC website. I watched all the clips about Lyme and they were great. I look forward to watching the October 10th program. C.P.
