I am about to go see my therapist for the severe anxiety I have been dealing with since getting bitten 4 weeks ago.
I guess I'd like some advice on if it would be ok to share everything with her. Ex: scared of meds side effects...My PCP does not know I am on the meds or being treated for Lyme.
I know we have to be careful who we discuss this stuff with because of the politics involved.
I just don't want to make anything harder on myself, but I also really need help and there are aspects of my treatment that I need to discuss in order to.
Any advice? I assume she is bound by doctor patient confidentiality...especially in this type of setting (psychology/psychiatry)...right?

Hopefully, as your increased anxiety is related to infection, your therapist will give you some exercises or techniques to help you cope when the anxiety attack hits.
I know for me, I can't pinpoint or pattern triggers for mine and that in itself makes it worse.
Good luck I hope it goes well
