I used alinia 1 month ago for one month every other days for babesia and I have suffered emotional(anxiety, depression) herx and bad leg , arm ,soulder, neck muscle pain. I used Tilcotil ampul IM.
Then I decided mepron using again. I have used 12 months mepron with azithromicin and intermittently add flagyl and this made me very bad. Than I used every other day mepron+ azithromycin+artemisinin and bactrim forte 2x1.I bare tolerated this.
I wonder if alinia use every other day ,does babesia resistant develop it?I tried to took alinia everyday but this made me terrific herx reaction(depression,anxiety,muscle ache etc)
I provided some improvement with babesia symptoms with this treatment(especially tiredness,depression level,stamina and sweating
But I think my babesia symptoms decreased %40
.Only intense babesia treatment(mepron 2.1,5 tbs aithromycin 500 1x1, bactrim forte 2x1,artemisinin 200 mg 2x3 capsuls , flagyl tablets 2x1 concurrently really helped to me and I am thinking alinia effective on my babesia
My babesia test negative(microti) and I suspect I have resistant babesia type(example duncani)
Any suggestion?

Babesia is really tricky. I think it can easily become resistant to anything. It sounds like you went after babs, and bart popped up. I think it's best when you can treat as many of your co infections at the same time.
Alinia also hits parasites. it was stated at last years ILADs conference that parasites were the number one co infection. I would go after them if I were you.

Thank you Catgirl. I used rifampicin 600mg+ azithromycin 500 mg 8 months for bartonella 2 years ago. I suffered intense emotional herx (especially increased anxiety and depression) during this treatment.
Perhaps bartonella relaps again? I am thinking provocative rifampicin+azithromycin treatment short time and observation what happen.
This time I have suffered especially slight depression and moderate anxiety and disturbing muscle pain and insomnia(ı am usnig low dose clozapine)
There is no LLMD in Turkey.
I have seeing lyme treatment for 4 years

Ahmet, I'm so sorry you don't have any LLMDs there. I would read everything I could here on Lymenet if I didn't have one. I still read everything I can here (lol)! So many kind souls here have provided tons of great information for us all.
As far as bart goes, rifampin and doxy worked for me. Then A-Bart really helped with the remaining symptoms (Byron White Formulas).
Your symptoms really sound parasite related to me. Check this out:
Dr. K treats parasites first for his patients. I'm sorry I didn't do this, because I still have lingering co infections. Doc K has found that when parasites are treated first (before abx), then the abx will actually work better to kill off the infections.
