Oh my. I'd love to be at that game. I'm a Peyton fan, so I used to be a Colts fan. Now a days I love the Broncos, not the Colts org.

I do believe I will be so emotional seeing Manning walk into that stadium again. Show 'em Peyton.....they did the wrong thing throwing me out to pasture. I still have lots of football in me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry I don't know any tricks to getting rid of cold fast because I'm a rifer and that does it for sure for me.

Pam

I use zinc lozenges at the first sign of a cold. Sometimes they help reduce congestion and shorten the duration of the cold. Take lots of vitamins c and d too.

Yes, zinc!

Easiest thing to find is Zicam rapidmelts.

Get them asap and start using them faithfully according to the package directions.

The sooner the better before your symptoms get worse. Once your symptoms advance it will take longer to stop them.

Zicam always stops my first symptoms in their tracks and any trace of a cold is gone within 2-3 days for me.

There is a store brand generic version that is available too.

For instance, at Walmart it is called Equate (brand) Zinc Cold Therapy (25 tablets). It says "compare to Zicam Rapidmelts active ingredients" on the label.

Gargle with salt water, do saline flushes with a neti pot, and also keep your feet and throat warm.

Even if it means wearing a scarf inside.

Try to keep your nasal passages moist as well. I find indoor heating does a number on me.

Eucalyptus essential oil can decongest the sinuses and kill the cold bug (virus).

So can Thieves oil (cinnamon, clove, lemon, rosemary, eucalyptus).

Diffuse, apply to feet and throat...and/or can even gargle with a drop or two of Thieves in half a glass of water...(don't gargle the eucalyptus oil).

Drink lots of water.

Avoid sugar.

Get plenty of rest and avoid stress.

Elderberry and L-Lysine also inhibit viral replication (i.e., they stop the virus from reproducing).

Hope you're feeling better.
