Any suggestions on symptomatic relief for bad brain fog flares?

I've been feeling so zombified and subsequently depressed and agitated.

Any suggestions on supplements etc. that can take the edge off this type of feeling?

Magnesium shows no effect and b vitamins were not going anywhere. Tried yucca and molybdendum for ammonia but I see no results.

I always feel like it's 4am and I just got home after driving 12 hours straight, but I don't recover.

Fish oil with very high EPA.

Aim for 2000 mg of EPA daily.

Glutathione, either IV, in a nebulizer, or in suppositories (rx). Or get liposomal gluthathione from Allergy Research.

Faster, since you don't have it now: coffee enemas!! They work right away and increase glutathione production tremendously, and detox hugely.

Have you bloodtested for thyroid? TSH and T3. I was normal TSH, low T3. Went on Armour thyoid and no more brain fog for me. My body needed its metabolism back. We're all different when it comes to what ails us and how to fix.

I'm already on t3/t4 and I've tried IV glutathione and liposomal to no real effect.

I know you said that Mg made no difference, but...

What kind of magnesium are you taking and how much? The magnesium made the biggest change with my brain fog for me.

I take 300 mg of liquid ionic mg twice/day plus 300 of magnesium malate at lunch time. (so 900 total - but I'm also severely deficient).

I meant ionized, not ionic. :-)

I have taken magnesium malate, magnesium citrate and in some fancy multis as well as in a meyers cocktail.

I have taken up to 3 grams of magnesium malate in a day but averaged closer to 1g.

I've been on the anti-yeast diet for a year.
Over the past two months I have taken Cat's Claw and Black Walnut hulls regularly which both tested by Genova Diagnostics to be effective for my strain of yeast. I have also been been on other anti-yeast substances this year- high dose crushed garlic and olive leaf extract.
I'm not on abx and I don't have any particular yeast infection signs (unless the brain fog is it).

Do you really think I still have yeast?
My test said it was low in the first place, and I have never tested positive for candida antibodies.

I would not trust any testing, really. I do know when I get die-off or in the past when I had bad flares, my brain fog was AWFUL.

I have not been on abx for 9 yrs and still battle it. It's mostly in my gut. Why not try some homemade fermented vegetables to get you over the hump?

(or ask for a round of Diflucan just to see)

I do eat Bubbie's pickles almost daily.
I ate true saurkeraut and kimchee for months.

I take saccomyces on occasion too.

Diflucan and Nystatin are both resisted by my yeast strain so it's not worth doing them (Genova diagnostics).

I would but kimchee did not agree with me.
Too much disturbance in there.

Bummer all that mag didn't help. :-( I wish I had some other suggestions b/c I've had severe brain fog for years and I know how frustrating and depressing it is!!!!

(It also took me forever and many supplements to find what was causing it for me! So hang in there!!)
