I hear Epsom baths are useful for detoxing and pain...? Any Lyme patients have experience with this? [ 11-13-2013, 09:16 PM: Message edited by: jamielett ]

Yes, done plenty, I have a love/ hate relationship w/ them, as I've never been a take a bath gal (shower) Go slow at first, but ideally, very warm water up to navel at least, 1-4 cups Epsom salt, 20 minutes minimum. Have water at side- towel, you may sweat- soft bristle body brush beforehand opens pores if you want. If you find you start to use them, Saltworks.com ships large bags free, good price. I am not affiliated. -------------------- Lyme positive PCR blood, and positive Bartonella henselae Igenex, 2011. low positive Fry biofilm test, 2012. Update 7/16- After extensive treatments, doing okay!

My skin gets irritated very easily. Epson salt burns my skin (even low, diluted amounts). Some people do well with it though.
