I don't know if this is lyme related - but it's gotten worse since treatment started.

I have flesh colored little bumps all over my forehead... They are not white heads, black heads or milia.

I've tried all kinds of products on them and finally gave up and just figured it was how my skin was. On my forehead, they're covered by my bangs, so whatever.

Until now - they are starting on my cheek... !!

I really don't want these bumps all over my face. Under my bangs is fine but now I'm getting annoyed.

Has anyone else had these?

Look into Lichen planus.

This is autoimmune, although I strongly suspect the underlying cause is tick borne infection.

You can google for images.
It's found all over the body.

OH wow, thankfully they don't look like lichen planus! WHEW.

They look a lot like very small milia... but my doctor said that mine aren't milia because milia is filled with protein and mine aren't filled, they're just tiny bumps.

I had those too. I think they are connected to the infections. I removed mine myself. Maybe your doctor is wrong.

I had the same thing happen when I started taking antibiotics. After eight months on Doxy the bumps went away a few months later after I stopped. Then when I started another antibiotic the bumps came back and spread all around my hair line. I've been off antibiotics now since April, but the bumps haven't all gone away.

I hasked my LLMD about them, but he didn't seem to know what they were.

I'd also like to know how nefferdun removed them.

I had this. My MD said our skin is a detox pathway. Makes sense. I had this bad at the beginning of treatment when I killed off a lot of bacteria and my body was trying to rid itself of the die off.

Koo, that makes a lot of sense and I, too, believed it was some kind of die off or a herx of some kind.

Thanks guys... I forgot about this thread! I've had mine since long before I started antibiotics. They started to get better when I started doxy, but then came back...

this is why saunas can be so helpful.

If it were me I'd make a spray bottle of MMS and apply topically to see if this can help.

learn how to make it at... www.genesis2church.com

Sebaceous cysts? I have several that I broke out in all at once earlier this year. They are very small (the size of uncooked couscous is the best I can think to describe them). Mine are hard and don't feel soft or liquid-filled. More like bumps that just popped up over night.

One doc told me it was common after 40, another said there's nothing topically that will help. It's not anything topical.

It's harmless and the doc will only remove if it gets large.

It's pretty gross but if you want to know - I cut them out! That is the way doctors remove milia and I am pretty sure that is what I had.

I have a friend, long time chronic multiple TBD's, who has linked this to Bartonella flares.

I'd believe it's bart related also.

I am like Neff, when they are small, I use pointed tweezers and pinch and pull them off at the same time.

It's probably a recipe for infection, but I hate them and they are on my neck and chest.
