*Posting in this section so as to not insert non-LLMD noise into the Finding a Doc section.

Has anybody had first-hand experience or good references to a methylation doctor/expert that does patient consults? It seems that the prominent names that used to offer patient consults, like Ben Lynch, have long since exited the consult side of the business.

Specifically, I want to find somebody to build a plan for me that takes into account all the Lyme/Co-infection treatment going on. Even the traditional advice/guidelines for supporting the complete methylation cycle is complex when numerous snp variants are involved. Throw in Lyme treatment and I am even less certain about my conclusions.

Finding an expert to work with is high on my priority list right now. Today's news of the FDA requesting a sales shutdown on 23andMe has me revisiting this topic. Fortunately I already have my results and have used numerous complimentary sites to assemble a decent picture of my genetic methylation/detox picture.

I'd like to know the best experts also. I have a few leads I need to follow-up on that I've found from other sites, but no clear definites yet.

The FDA wants to shut down 23andme?? Yikes!

What other sites do you know of? I'd like to cross-check my results and see what other sites might say about the various others mutations.

Thanks.

Tammy,
I did Prometheus, Genetic Genie and mthfrsupport. While very similar to one another, they each highlight slightly different data. I only did the 3 because of my personal curiosity. If I were to do it again, GG and mthfrsupport are worth it individually.

Let me know if you get any traction on your expert leads!

I sent both of you a PM. Let me know if you don't receive it. There was a weird error message when I hit "send".
