With 23andme possibly getting shut down for awhile, I was wondering if people have had genetic testing for things such as MTHFR through Labcorp or Quest and had it covered by insurance?
Just deciding if I should get a 23andme kit while the site is still selling them or if there are alternatives that don't cost much like it.

My insurance covered the MTHFR Labcorp test my LLMD ordered. 23andMe results matched the results from Labcorp, If you are particularly interested and have the mental bandwidth to peel the genetic onion, go with 23andMe if still available. There is so much more to the picture.... but it can consume you if you find it interesting. It's consuming me:)

LOL. I find it really interesting. I've been wanting to order this for awhile (I think genetics are neat).
Well, I think I'll put in my credit card just for in case the company just poofs and disappears this month.
