I know that the common advice is to avoid over exertion, anaerobic vs aerobic etc. My blessed problem is I like to play tennis. While I excercise I am fine and feel great, it is afterwards and the next day. Anybody have any good "recovery" suggestions whether fluids, suppliments, protein powder, d-ribbose etc. I know this is a good problem to have versus how sick some/most of you are but just looking for advice.
Thanks

Good question. I increased my walk from 1 mile to 2 miles the other day, and I'm still feeling poorly 2 days later. The walk felt good. The aftermath, not so good.

Not so good for yeast I suppose but chocolate milk saved my wife's life this spring after brain surgery when she could not hold anything down. High in potassium and all body building sites push it.

I am back to full training again with regards to running and hiking. I am able to exercise as I did prior to getting sick 10 years ago BUT must pay closer attention to recovery.
I use Vega Performance products. Gluten free and Vegan. Works very well for me. Vitacost has good prices.

Soccer always felt great too! It was the week following that sucked.
Whey protein powder(stevia sweetened only) mixed with coconut water and half an avocado was my favorite.
Those were the days. Sigh.

Amino acids BCAA's can help- Epsom salt baths- but these are more for muscle recovery,
if you mean stamina recovery, that I am not sure about. I weight lift at home in the mornings, or take a 2 mile walk,
but found I can't do both in the same day.
Edited to add: I could probably do both in the same day if I didn't have other taxing things going on in my life that require exertion from me.

i go from not being able to stand 2-3 minutes to walking half hour or so if i take really good coq10
i am at a whole other level than you...but there is a lot written about mitochondrial function and energy (stamina, endurance)
i recently saw it can be caused by microbe infection...so it might be worth a try
theres a whole combo along with the coq10 -ive posted it before but dont have it in front of me now
also athletes use creatine...but i didnt get into that
vitacost has a combo called mitochondrial energy booster
it helped me but i am nervous about what else is in generic stuff so i tend to buy it all separate except when i am really down
