I am going to post the answer to your question here:
My daughter is doing great! Working and leading a normal life. She was dania84 on this site. She suffered with major heart symptoms early on.
I have a German friend who recovered from Lyme disease at a University in Germany which was conducting treatment on Lyme patients.
I am learning that they are taking Lyme disease very seriously and the treatment of choice for long term chronic Lyme and Post Lyme Syndrome is a good quality (Bayer) Clarithromycin (Biaxin) and Hydrochloroquine (Plaquenil) for at least 6 months and 3 months past symptoms.
Its funny because my daughter was on Clarithromycin and Metronidazole (Flagyl) another cyst buster.
The University reported 91% success rate with this treatment and have adopted this as their standard method of treatment for long term Lyme patients.
