Dropping Mino and adding Mepron to my daily abx regimen per my LLMD visit last week. She said I could drop Zithro too if I wanted, but kept it in the rotation due to reported improved Mepron efficacy when taken together.

Are there any likely issues I should watch out for when taking Bactrim and Mepron at the same time? I've been taking Bactrim (2x per day) for 1 month and have not had any noticeable herx/negative reaction.

Fry test was positive for Bart/FL1953. Three tests for Babs were negative, but historical and present symptoms are why the doctor wants to treat for it now.

Bactrim and Mepron is a good combo for Babs.

I second to stay stay with Zith while on Mepron to prevent resistance.

No problem with the two together. That was my initial protocol before I knew I was allergic to Bactrim.

I second gmb's comment about staying on Zythro w/ Mepron. I was on both for many many many months.
