after reading that this and the other...I'm still confused...is it lyme or bartonella or what?

I have many symptoms, but the most bothersome is the spacy/dizzy/floating/blurry feeling I get so often...

it feels like things around me are kind of moving and I'm not in touch with reality...like things are happening but I'm not really there...so hard to describe. From your experience what IS this?

I've been on rifampin for about 3 1/2 months already...

It is especially bad in crowds or in trains, I get so anxious because I think I might pass out.

It feels like I will lose my balance, especially when things are moving and people are rushing all around me....anyone have any suggestions? thanks so much:-)

for those of you who are familiar with this, do you think its worth it to do a tilt table test to assess my pressure drops? my bp is always low...but I did not always feel this way...

Hello,

It can be very hard to tell exactly which disease it is because so many of the diseases have overlapping symptoms. I would treat for all if it's possible.

If you don't see improvement after a while on this med then talk with your doctor about adding another to the combo and test for all co-infections.

I never had a tilt test done, but hopefully others who have can advise you.

Hope you feel better, the anxiety can be awful. [Wink]

At one point I was on Malarone, Zithromax, Plaquinal, Bactrim, Nystain, fungal defense, chrolella, and many other herbs and supplements etc. The only way I got better was to keep taking meds especially babs meds for 3 solid years.

I had similar symptoms, but all my meds covered bart and babs, so I don't really know 100% but for me it was babs.

As Beverly points out, it can be very hard to sort it out. Your LLMD is your best bet to do that, and cover all the likely bases.

For how to manage some of the VESTIBULAR symptoms (and sort out certain deficiencies that can also interfere), there are some good suggestions here:

First, GINGER CAPSULES.

Ask your LLMD for a suggestion for a VESTIBULAR THERAPIST with emphasis on coping and safety techniques while the cause(s) are being addressed.

A TILT TABLE test may be in order. Still, IMO, you really need training for where to look, how to walk regarding balance issues.

When you say it's like things are moving but you're not really there, I had a similar experience prior to checking my thyroid level.

T3 tested low, so I went on Armour thyroid and felt present again. My doctor explained that a sick body can go into hibernation and not have a normal active metabolism. So the thyroid supplementation has kick-started my metabolism again and things register again for me.

We're all different, so this is my story - yours could still be different. I think it's useful to get a full bloodtest done for all markers that could indicate need for boosting.

Be careful to address candida also. Don't let it get out of hand.
