I pulse Tindamax 2-3 days per week and am on Bicillin. I notice that my twitching is significantly more noticeable on my pulse days. I know that it can cause an increase in neuropathy.
Should I be concerned? I still think the positives outweigh the negatives.
Thanks!

Did you have twitching prior to starting lyme treatment?
When I herxed on mino, the twitching increased for me at first, but then tapered off. But I had twitches prior to beginning treatment.

Yes, I already had it, but it is much worse. I guess it could be a herx, in theory.

That's good
If you didn't twitch at all before-then it could be a side effect.
But twitching before, and twitching more now... Could be a herx.
How many pulses have you done so far?
I believe that Flagyl is more prone to causing neuralgia, so that is why some docs choose tinidazole.
