Hi there,
I have been on Rifampin for about three weeks now. Until a few days ago, my urine has always been orange, but for the past few days it has only been normal colour.
Does anyone know if this means anything? Would it not be working anymore?

Had the same thing happen to me. Think it has something to do with the amount of water you drink and amount of food you

eat with it. If I eat a cracker and a glass of water it's Halloween orange but if I drink a lot of water and eat a ton then I only

notice a slight color change if any.

The same thing happened to me as well. I felt like it was no longer being absorbed, but I have no scientific evidence of that.

Same here. This is my second round with Rifampin and the same color change happened both times about 4 or 5 week in.

I am not too concerned about it. The herx from starting this round was the worse, and I'm finally seeing improvement.

I asked my LL about this last week.

He said the urine color doesn't reflect the efficacy of the rifampin.
