Its my opinion that with vitamin D3 and chronic disease the level should be 70 to 90.
I've used Biotec brand for years now and have had tests done to confirm it's absorbabilty. There is none better.

I was told by 2 different doctors that the body uses 4000-6000IU of Vitamin D every day. So if you are deficient, it is generally considered advisable to take upwards of 10,000IU of Vitamin D3 daily to correct the deficiency.
Of course, in the Summertime, going outside between 11am-2pm for some sunshine (without sunscreen) is the best way to get Vitamin D...
As for the MCV, what's your Folate status? Folate deficiency can also cause macrocytic anemia...

I started methyl folate in Sept. It hadn't made a difference. Sometimes I have forgotten to take it but won't anymore.
It worries me that with the methycobalamin shots starting in Sept, my mcv went up a little.
I'm thinking of skipping the D2 rx. I like this new primary care and hate to go against her on this because she's been wonderful.
I think she just wanted me to get a boost immediatelly.
Is it totally worthless or should I do the 50,000 once a week for a week or two?
Talked to an integrative nutritionist today and he said double my D3 to 10,000 per day.
