I recently started taking vitamin B Complex pill form to help with fatigue but I am also wondering

if it is interfering with my antibiotics because this past week I am starting to feel crappy

again. this vitamin B complex has:

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) 125mg

Thiamin Vitamin B-1 (as Thiamin Mononitrate)125mg

Riboflavin (Vitamin B-12) 125mg

Niacin ( as Niacinamide) 125mg

Vitamin B-6 (as Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) 125mg

Folic Acid 400mcg

Vitamin B-12 (as Cyanocobalamin) 125mcg

Biotin 125mcg

Pantothenic Acid (as Calcium D-Pantothenate)125mg

Choline Bitartate 125mcg

Inositol 125mcg

para-Aminobenzoic Acid (PABA) 75mg

This is a time released formula but I only take

half a pill so cut all those doses in half.

The ingredient that makes me kind of alarmed is

the Calcium D-Pantothenate because I heard

Calcium interferes with Doxy.

I am on Doxy, Rifampin, and Flaygl.

Can anyone help?

Also instead of peeing orange that the rifampin

usually makes me do the B vitamin makes me pee

green instead.

I remember asking my doc a similar question. She said to take any supplements with calcium away from antibiotics.

So, I take my antibiotics with breakfast and dinner, and most of my other supplements with lunch.

I have no idea how to sort out the time release issue (how long until it's all released would by my question to the manufacturer).

I accidentally bought a supplement that had time release calcium (in alpha-lipoic acid of all things). I'm just waiting until I'm off doxycycline to take it.

Yes the time release thing is an issue. I take my abx at 11am and 11pm and usually take all my

supplements inbetween at like 3ish. I The part the stinks is the B-Vitamins gave me alot of

energy which made me feel great but after about a week I started noticing though I had more energy

some of my symptoms started increasing. I just went and asked the pharmacist and he said that

anything with calcium in it effects the absorption of doxy. As far as the time release

goes I can still feel it in my system at the end of the day when it's time to take my abx and I

pee green all day as well. So it looks like Ill have to find a B complex without any calcium in

it and without a time release. Stinks because I
just bought a big jar of them for like $40 and

only got to take 7 of them.
