My llmd says he refers some of his tough cases to a lady who uses flower essences to cure things including lyme. Has anyone heard of this and should I be weary of it?

Been there done that...waste of money.

Lyme...absolutely not.

Insomnia, grieving, stress etc. Maybe...

That was one of the alternative things I tried, before my lyme dx.

Bach's Flower Essences.

As far as I am concerned it's like drops of expensive water.

There are so many more alternative modalities that work more effectively for helping SYMPTOMS.

Katrina-sorry if my last post seemed a bit negative.

I was totally floored that an LL would recommend it for lyme treatment.

As far as I know, Bach's Flower Essences has an online/distance training course that anyone can take-one doesn't need a medical background to be certified to treat with flower essences.

I found this out when I was being treated. I remember feeling ripped off, as it just didn't seem right.

That's when my mind compartmentalized the flower essences in the same category as snake oil.

Flower essences can be very helpful IF you get the right one but I would not expect them to cure lyme. They are a tool to be used in conjunction with other modalities in my view.

There are many more essence manufacturers besides bach. I have numerous manufacturers that I use.

If you have a block that is keeping you from healing they may help to move you forward. I use muscle testing to find the right essences. There have been times that I've had remarkable success with clearing something using them but I can't imagine using them alone for lyme treatment.

I agree with TerryK on this...

they do work but I wouldnt count on them to cure lyme... not by a long shot...

but for emotional issues they can be helpful for some people. they dont work on everyone. It all depends on our core vibrational quality. Hard to explain that one. You have to be very sensitive to respond to them. If you have been drugged out with lots of toxic stuff they will probably not work well at all.

Crabapple is for cleansing. that may be a place to start. I have been able to stop full blown seizures with rescue remedy on two different occassions... to the point where those people now carry rescue with them all the time... but I know it will not stop seizures for everyone.

Those people who respond to homeopathy well will respond better to the flower remedies. Homeopathy works on less and less people these days due to the heavy toxic load so many carry... thats why it works better on children and animals than adults who have spent a life time taking drugs, drinking, smoking and the years of chemical exposures coming at them from all direstions... and on top of that never spending a second in detox for anything.

doesn't seem like it would work, especially not for a bacterial disease. it is claimed that the remedies contain "energetic" or "vibrational" nature of the flower and that this can be transmitted to the user, but what kind of flowers are "energetic"?

well, i can think of one flower that'll give you a buzz, but that's only legal in a few states. [Razz]

Flower essences are herbal infusions or decoctions, made from the flowering part of the plant.

You will have a response to them if you are taking the right one for your needs regardless of your toxicity level.

I used to be highly toxic due to methylation, borrelia toxins and lead exposure but I still responded quite nicely to flower essences and homeopathics.

I have used Bach Remedies, such as Rescue Remedy. Also used a couple of others. They have helped me deal with crisis, or emotional issues by helping me get re-centered.

Would I every use them to treat Lyme Disease? No, not ever, never.

Best wishes.
