Since day 1 the symptom that made me go get tested and has been the worse one since is the feeling of being anxious day
and night. Feels like my chest is tight and I wake up feeling like this in the morning and sometimes wake up in the middle
of the night feeling anxious in that fight of flight mode even if I am exhausted from work all day. It went away for like a month
but now it's back again. Is it Lyme? Is it Bart? I'm treating both but doesn't seem to make a difference. It makes this battle that
much harder because I can never just relax because of it.

You are still early in treatment, and symptoms will flare at various times without rhyme nor reason. Have you had any med changes recently? Does your daily log book show and symptom consistence over a 3 to 4 month period?
I still can't really figure out 100% what some of my symptoms are linked to which of the 3 B's. And at this point in treatment... its of less concern.
You are on a pretty good combo, hang in there. Maybe check what Buhner recommends for anxiety to take the edge off. I would stay away from Rx and keep your med history free of those classes of meds.

Rifampin made it absolutely impossible for me to relax. It was maddening. It created all kind of other problems (chest tightness, inability to hear, inability to feel things I touched ,it was awful).
My doc took me off of it. Symptoms cleared up in a day. Thank God.
I just had genetic testing done and rifampin was listed as a drug I should avoid. My body just doesn't process it correctly.

Lithium orotate might help. It is related to the RX (lithium carbonate) that is given for Bipolar disorder, but the supplement is actually a naturally occurring mineral found in the earth.
In the small doses recommended, it is not at all toxic to the liver, thyroid or kidneys - like lithium carbonate is. But you should still discuss taking this with your LLMD. (The one you see recommended this for me a couple of years ago).
It is actually neuro-protective and may help to calm the nervous system. I take 5 g 3 x per day. Studies have shown that in cities where it occurs naturally in larger amounts in the water, there is less crime. It is also used to help alcoholics to not drink. Many use this to wean themselves from anti-depressents.

I'm very familiar with the anxiety problem and know how frustrating it is. I kept thinking it was Bart related but after being on Babs treatment for some time I found it actually was helping the anxiety. Initially it made it flare though.

I am sorry to hear that your anxiety symptoms have come back.
The responses from Keebler and Lymetoo and others about magnesium and adrenal support was a great reminder for me to hear as well.
I lost track over my treatment and supplements and realized I haven't taken magnesium or anything else for quite a long time..that was suggested or the links suggested. My brain still needs a lot of help with functioning, memory, cognition, etc.
Magnesium does make a difference. I have had terrible anxiety and just an extremely hard time the past few months-I need to get back on the magnesium and adrenal support.
I am also going to check with my 10 yr old's doctor, what he can take. He has similar symptoms as me-diagnosed with Bb and Babesia Duncani, high strep titers, and mycoplasma.
I hope you can find relief from some of the suggestions in the responses. I would love to get off of some of the prescription meds I was put on because I was desperate and couldn't function-anxiety, depression, just wanting to be alone because I always felt so exhausted and never rested.
I hope you are able to try some of the recommendations and get some relief.

The thing that is most frustrating is that my body goes into anxiety mode as in my chest is tight my heart pounds
breathing become harder and I feel tense but my mind is perfectly calm I can think clear I know what's happening and
mentally I am completely fine. I even laugh sometimes when I feel it comming on. I stay away from anxiety physc meds soley
for the fact that my 2 IDs tried to push anxiety meds on me saying that was my issue before I stuck the "off the charts
positive" western blot in their face. They just don't do anything for me because I have a physical reaction not a mental one.
I've been taking magnesium glycinate twice a day for 2 months but I hate the way It makes my stomache feel. Hopefully it was
just a flare but going to look into getting my adrenals tested soon.
