I am currently getting weekly bicillin shots for my lyme & co. I now have a wicked sinus infection and walking pneumonia...so I've added some Zithromax. And I will up the probiotics as well.

Anyone else? This winter is a killer.

I had some kind of sinus, throat, chest event 5 weeks ago that i still suffer lingering effects from....it seems tho that everyone around me is getting the same thing...the vendors who come in every week, some of my staff, people they know, coworkers, and friends

whatever it is it seems pretty virulent and long lasting even with the abx....i had 5 days of old doxy and then 10 days of augmentin and i'm not completely recovered....

I got an awful head cold virus 10 days before Thanksgiving, complete with a bunch of canker sores. By the first week of Dec I had a full out sinus infections.

I had some Ketek and took that and started feeling better, but ran out. My doctor put me on Doryx for a month, but it still didn't go away.

Right now I'm on Augmentin -- and then on top of it all I had to get root canal last week.

My daughter had the same thing... horrible virus with sinus infection and she was on Lyme abx the whole time!

We both swear that the problem was/is that the virus lasted about 2 months. Usually when I get a sinus infection, by the time I am about half way through killing the bacterial infection my body has already killed off the virus.

I feel like this virus lingered for a very long time.

I just got over the flu and possible pneumonia. It is going around like crazy. Unfortunately being on antibiotics will not prevent it.

I've been OK so far, thanks to LDN, and knock on wood.

But my it's been a rough year for colds and flus.

A coworker was A-OK on the Thursday and in the hospital on the Saturday with pneumonia.

Seems to go straight to the sinuses and lungs.

Hope you guys get better soon.
