Just starting a round of Fluconazole for an overgrowth identified by my LLMD.
I've been through this once before about 2 years ago.
Is it common to have one set of symptoms for one overgrowth.....and different symptoms the next time around?
There are so many yeast related symptoms, that I would think this to be logical.
For example, my 1st bout with this was mostly headaches, anxiety, morning nausea, fatigue, abdominal pain/soreness.
This time around, I have the fatigue, abdominal pain/soreness, almost constant post nasal drip, anxiety, shortness of breath in the morning (probably from all the mucus settling in one place over night?), lightheaded, body aches (especially places like my upper back where I sometimes experience issues).
Also getting up a couple of times throughout the night to urinate (though this can be totally unrelated).
I only have to take for 2 weeks (along with double dose of Kolorex).
Hope to feel better soon.

Well, if your last treatment for yeast was 2 yrs ago then I would say it is possibly more ingrained now. So that would make sense with the increased numbers of symptoms.
Your die-off is much stronger this time. Hang in there!
Be sure to follow the diet or you will be right back where you started once you go off the fluconazole.

This is rough....lol. I'm only on day 2 of treatment, and I am already feeling gross.
Actually had a brief panic attack while out this afternoon.
Last time, I had to treat for 3 months. This time, only 2 weeks. Hope this does it.
Oh, would inner thigh pain qualify as a symptom? My left inner thigh is really bugging me out of nowhere. Who knows, right?

It's not anything like a quinolone, but you may want to be sure you are getting enough magnesium. Also call your pharmacist or DR and/or check online for the list of side effects.

Thanks, Lymetoo. My LLMD actually gave me potassium/ magnesium pills to take around my cycle to help with cramps a bit. Haven't taken them yet, but maybe I'll take them now...?
I can ask my pharmacist.
I think my lymph nodes must be full or something. I feel like someone has a hand squeezing around my neck.
I'm supposed to go away for the weekend, and hoping the worst of this passes by then.

I wound up taking it. I really hope to have the worst of it over by the weekend, so I wanted to stick to it.
Then, I went for a short walk to get my lymphatic system movin' and groovin'.
Heat on my neck seems to help at least a bit. Lots of lemon water. Epsom salt bath later.
It actually calmed a bit, so that's why I decided to take it. If it gets bad again and doesn't calm down before tomorrow's dose, I will likely take a day off to focus on detox.
I don't think it's an allergic reaction because I was on this drug for at least 2 months at once a couple of years ago. Only had die-off reactions.
Plus, I think allergic reactions would not get better so quickly. Who knows....?
Oh, I also looked up how to do a quick in-home lymphatic drainage....or at least something that is supposed to help stimulate drainage.
I'll try anything.

Tonight, I'm starting to get some of those symptoms back. Abdominal pain (mild to moderate at most), etc. The worst is the full lymph nodes in my neck.
I feel like someone has their hand around my throat and is choking me.
I wonder.....how often can epsom salt baths be taken? I took my first one 2 nights ago. It wiped me out a bit. In fact, the next morning I was still a little wiped.....but then started to feel better.
I wonder if I can take another tonight? It seemed to help me detox. I just don't want to tire myself out too much.
Thanks for the link! I will definitely take a look!
